The company reinforces its engagement with the UN Global Compact on the occasion of the organization’s 75th anniversary
Velatia, a family, industrial and technological group operating worldwide, has renewed its historical commitment to the United Nations Global Compact in the spirit of global cooperation with this organization, which has established 10 universally accepted principles to promote sustainable development in the areas of human rights and business, labour, environment, and anti-corruption in corporate activities and business strategy.
In doing so, Velatia confirms its commitment as a group and joins forces with more than 12,500 fellow participants from over 160 countries, converting this corporate social responsibility initiative into the biggest of its kind in the world.
This renewal of commitment comes at a key time for the United Nations Organization, as it celebrates its 75th anniversary. It also represents another milestone on the roadmap set out in Velatia’s Sustainability Strategy, which ties the profitmaking activities of its businesses to its social commitment and respect for the environment.
On the United Nations Global Compact
