Velatia, a family-owned group member of Aefame (Family Business Association of the Basque Country) and of the Instituto de la Empresa Familiar (Spanish Family Business Institute), has decided to collaborate actively with the European Family Businesses (EFB) federation, providing access to its facilities at the Ormazabal Research and Development Centre.
The EFB meets regularly to discuss issues related to family businesses in Europe. On this occasion, the meeting will take place between 20 and 22 September and some of its working sessions, specifically those organised on 21 September, will be held at the Ormazabal facilities.
During that day, EFB members will not only have the opportunity to discuss topics related to the current situation in Europe, regulations, country-specific challenges, trends and business priorities, but also to visit the research facilities at the Ormazabal Centre. This centre houses a state-of-the-art power laboratory and a demonstration and experimental power grid unit that is unique in the world.
Velatia’s collaboration in making these facilities available to the EFB demonstrates its commitment to the European business community and its desire to provide a space for the exchange of ideas and experiences between family businesses in Europe. This gesture underlines the importance of collaboration and mutual support within the business world.
