Ikusi, in a consortium spearheaded by NEM Solutions that Ormazabal also forms part of, is participating in the IOENERGY R+D+i project within the Basque Government-subsidized Hazitek Program.
The project purports to facilitate the purchase and capitalization of data generated under actual operating conditions for both component manufacturers and 4.0 service and technology suppliers, accelerating and optimizing the Basque industry’s digitizing process.
The idea is to improve photovoltaic and wind farm system and component design by recording and exploiting service performance data. This project also seeks to improve the competitiveness and positioning of Basque component manufacturers and multidisciplinary companies to develop new photovoltaic and wind farm asset management services (monitoring, predictive and prescriptive maintenance, etc.). Likewise, it seeks to develop technologies for communication, data assimilation and data analysis using applications, tools and services specifically addressing and adapted to renewable energy needs.
