Ikusi has undertaken the initial phase of a security project distributed across the entire Republic of Mexico to integrate the systems installed in 30 retail outlets of a well-known brand. It means that the various security solutions (intrusion, fires, video and Control Centre and Regional Command) can be managed from the monitoring centre owned by the client.
During the second phase the project was developed in a further 32 outlets, on this occasion both in Mexico and in other Latin American countries. This will be followed up by a third phase involving the implementing of the security project across an additional 63 outlets.
With this proposal by Ikusi, the chain of retail outlets will be upgrading its current security systems by optimising the available resources (technical, technological and personnel), by improving operating efficiency through the automating of its operation and security processes, and by reusing, wherever possible, the currently installed technology. Likewise, with the migration towards IP technology the proposal will succeed in getting all the locations to report to a single centre. One of the innovations offered by the system is the generating of alarms based on video scrutiny, which is programmed on the basis of appropriate detection in situations that pose a risk for the customer.
