The growing population of India, that will reach, in some years, the first position as the most populated country in the world, displacing China, and the big problems of health, education, urban planning, security and environment are the key challenges that PM Modi needs to face for the next years. This scheme launched by the NDA government deals with urban development and aims towards better living. It drives economic growth stressing on the need for people centric urban planning and development.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)
Launched on June 25, 2015, the PMAY is a Housing for All scheme which focuses to enable better living. The NDA government identified 305 cities and towns across nine states for implementation of this scheme.
